Maextro, the new automotive brand jointly created by Huawei and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group (JAC), has shared images of the interior of its first model, the Maextro S800, as its launch nears.
Maextro shared these images on Weibo today, showing the interior details of the Maextro S800 luxury sedan.
The Maextro S800 is on display at the booth of Huawei's HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) business at the ongoing2025 Shanghai auto show, but the interior was not open for viewing.
The Maextro S800 uses three connected screens in the front, according to the images shared today.
These images show a four-seater model, which features a roof with a star effect.
Maextro is the fourth new brand built by Huawei with a local carmaker and the highest positioned under Huawei's HIMA umbrella.
Huawei unveiled the Maextro S800 on November 26 last year and said the model was expected to be priced between RMB 1 million ($137,070) and RMB 1.5 million.
Richard Yu, Huawei's managing director, announced on February 20 at Maextro's technology presentation that the Maextro S800 would be officially launched at the end of May.
Similar to multiple other models under the HIMA business, the Maextro S800 is expected to be offered in both extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants, according to a previous regulatory filing.
The EREV and BEV variants share the same dimensions of 5,480 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width and 1,536 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,370 mm. They both have 4-seat and 5-seat versions.
The EREV variant of the Maextro S800 would be powered by an 800V high-voltage battery pack with a capacity of 65 kWh, which supports 6C fast charging and can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 10.5 minutes, Yu said on February 20.
The BEV variant would have a 5C pack, which takes 12 minutes to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent.
