(NYSE: NIO) sub-brand Onvo has released range information for the L90, showing the energy performance of its flagship SUV (sport utility vehicle).

The L90 comes standard with a battery pack with a capacity of 85 kWh and has a CLTC range of 570 to 605 kilometers, Onvo said today on Weibo.

The rear-wheel drive version of the SUV has a CLTC range of 605 kilometers and consumes 14.5 kWh per 100 kilometers.

Its four-wheel drive version has a CLTC range of 570 kilometers and consumes 15.4 kWh of energy per 100 kilometers.

The L90 uses a 900-volt high-voltage architecture, lightweight technologies and has a very low drag coefficient for its class, Onvo said.

Nio Inc's 10 years of technology accumulation, and the more than 2,000 battery swap stations available to Onvo, allows a three-row large SUV to have purely decent styling, it said.

Separately, according to a catalog of vehicle models eligible for vehicle purchase tax reductions and exemptions released earlier today by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Onvo has filed battery packs with capacities of 60.6 kWh and 85.1 kWh for the L90.

The L90 has a CLTC range of 425 km, 410 km, 570 km, or 550 km, according to the catalog.

The MIIT document doesn't mention information about the L90's powertrain, though the model number NAL6513BSEVZ2 represents a dual-motor version of the SUV, according to a previous CnEVPost report.

The L60 SUV -- Onvo's first model -- comes standard with a 60-kWh capacity battery pack, and owners have the option of temporarily upgrading to a longer-range battery pack with 85-kWh capacity.

Onvo president Shen Fei said on Weibo last month that the L90 would come standard with a battery pack with a capacity of 85 kW.

This means that the L90 will be priced with the 85-kW battery pack included. Owners of the large SUV will likely be allowed to downgrade to the smaller 60-kWh pack and receive a subsidy.

For Nio's main brand models, owners who have purchased the 100-kWh long range model has the option to use the 75-kWh standard range battery pack and receive a Nio credit subsidy.

Onvo showcased the L90 on the first day of 2025 Shanghai auto show on April 23, when it emphasized that the highly integrated components resulted in more storage space.

The Onvo L90 measures 5,145 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width and 1,786 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm.

The three-row SUV can carry seven standard 20-inch suitcases in the trunk when seated with six people, and two 20-inch suitcases as well as a slightly smaller box in the frunk.

The official launch of the Onvo L90 is yet to be determined, with Nio management previously saying this would be in the third quarter.

Nio founder, chairman and CEO William Li said on April 23 that Onvo's third model, the L80, would be launched in the fourth quarter.

The Onvo L90 measures 5,145 mm in length and will come standard with a battery pack with a capacity of 85 kWh, which is the same long-range battery pack as the L60.
